Masterwork Practice Hour—Live at the NGA in D.C.
Sunday, December 13, 2026, 10:00am to 12:00pm

This December 2026, join artist and educator Nick Cruz Velleman for a special in-person Masterwork Practice Hour at the National Gallery of Art. Sketch directly from the masters, explore the artwork up close, and connect with fellow artists and LMSP&D alumni. We'll spend time drawing from works in selected galleries of the museum, followed by a round of sharing to look at the group's work. More details will be shared for this FREE practice session via email in the week leading up to the event.

What to bring:

Pencil and/or pen. (No wet media allowed.)
Sketchbook or sketchpad

Registration is limited. Advance RSVP required (We will cap this experience at 16 participants. After that, we will start a waitlist.)

We have now reached capacity for this event. If you are interested in joining, please add your name to the waitlist below and we will contact you if space becomes available.
